Why us

Our business is focused on technology, growth and change.

We are focused on outcomes, not hierarchies. That means getting straight to the point, fast, and always focusing on what matters most to clients – valuable, high-quality, technical and practical advice. We apply the same enthusiasm and attitude towards finding and training our future talent.

Our work and clients

The clients we work with are forward-thinking achievers and dealmakers who are changing, challenging and shaping the future.

We work with innovative companies from start-up, through growth and maturity, and help established companies navigate complex processes of change and digital transformation.

Our clients include entrepreneurs, SMEs, national and international companies, private equity and venture capital houses, growth capital funds, banks and other financial institutions, management teams, and high net worth individuals.

We work alongside our clients as a partner for growth. This includes proactively:

  • accessing capital,

  • building commercial value through optimised operations in commercial contracts, technology and IP management,

  • evolving team capabilities and employment arrangements,

  • real estate financing and management, managing and resolving disputes,

  • tax arrangements,

  • fundraising and seed investments series A through C, development capital investment transactions and management-backed buyouts.

While we consider ourselves experts in our fields we are highly ranked for our venture capital and M&A work. Our strength and depth in those spaces is highlighted in our consistent ranking by Chambers and Legal 500 in the top 10 firms in London for M&A small and mid-cap deals up to £100m and Venture Capital. Some of our most recent deals are highlighted on LinkedIn and our main website.

Space to thrive

Responsible business

Driven by a desire to improve things, everywhere and for everyone, not just the businesses we serve and ourselves means that we take our CSR seriously.

We work hard to find better ways of doing things and ensure we make a positive impact in everything we do. Our aim is to integrate sustainability, diversity, and positivity into every strategic and operational decision we make as a firm, and as individuals.

Our trainees are consistently inspirational in demonstrating this aim in action, making a significant contribution with passion for our CSR activities. Each year, Marriott Harrison chooses a charity of the year to support and fundraise money through various activities. In 2023, our selected charity of the year is The Felix Project.

Marriott Harrison is committed to doing what we say we will. With events with, and for, various charities throughout the year, we encourage our team to get involved and make a tangible difference. There is an opportunity to initiate and participate in many activities which typically involve raising money or giving up your time. Activities include giving up your time to head along to The Felix Project warehouse to prepare food and package it up, cake sales, local London foodbank donations, marathons, half marathons, duathlons, writing birthday or Christmas cards, taking part in the London Santa Run, chess tournaments and much more.

At Marriott Harrison, we are conscious of the impact can have on charities and are committed to social good and embedding CSR into our culture. We host several activities each year, and if there’s a charity that you’re passionate about, you have the opportunity to take the lead.
